The now-textured version of a creature for a sci fi cinematic short / universe I am developing. The rig is still a work in progress, and here I am testing initial motion ranges and the first skinning pass.
This guy looked completely different once upon a time, but last week I decided to finish him completely, as this new idea I had for him would fit into the world, so I did a lot of resculpting. I usually retopologise manually (the proper way), but wanted to see if I can get away with Zremesher + ZremeshGuides. I think it is possible in certain cases. Input maps baked in Marmoset Toolbag, textured in Substance Painter and finally rendered with Redshift.
